Who is Mark Bowers?  
I am a retired 20-year US Navy submariner with an additional ten years of corporate experience in management consulting, professional services, and adult education.  My passion is to "help folks get stuff done."  An advocate of appreciative inquiry, my "go-to" approach for helping others in their professional and personal endeavors starts with identification of what's working well and what we should take another look at.  Next, we try and identify modest changes to reinforce the good and reduce the not-so-good.  I've found this to be a wonderfully efficient approach to gaining powerful results.  I'm personally most happy when teaching or facilitating--and that outlook has served my customers well as they learn a repeatable, sustainable approach to managing their own destiny.  I've formalized this as my Efficient Consulting Methodology.
